Steve McDaniel, 69 of Bowling Green went to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, July 24, 2021

The Warren County native was a son of the late G K McDaniel and Ellen  McDaniel who survives. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and James McDaniel. Steve was employed by Averitt Express and was a farmer.  He was an avid fisherman and a member of Crossland Community Church.

His survivors include his loving wife Karen McDaniel; his mother Ellen McDaniel; four daughters, Leslie Watkins (Devin), Chauncie Doyle (Hunter), Stevie Turner (Adam) and Cassie Bankson (Brad); 11 grandchildren, Jack and Chance Doyle, Tucker and Rylee Turner, Zach Gross, Ashton Gross, Spencer Gross, Emmi Watkins, Parker Bankson, Avery Bankson and Amelia Bankson; two brothers, Donnie McDaniel (Faye) and Phillip McDaniel (Vivian); four sisters, Bonnie Humphrey (Gerald), Vanessa McDaniel, Peggy Jackson (Robert) and Barbara Hastings (Dean); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held  at 1 p.m. Tuesday  July 27  at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday July 27 at the funeral home.
