Winiford "W.D." Hill

Winiford “W.D.”, Hill, 85, of Bowling Green died Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Hospice House.

The Warren County native was the son of the late Nobel Hill and Pauline Robinson Hill. He was married to the late Janice White Hill. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanetta Berry, Doris Allen and Mazella Melton and one brother, Bobby Hill. Winiford was a member of Martinsville Baptist Church. He loved farming, was an OTR truck driver and worked for Louisville Home Center for 25 years.

He is survived by his son, Noland Hill (Samantha); two sisters, Marena White and Judy Kay Smith (Jimmy); five brothers, Glenn Hill, Hulen Hill (Faye), Maurice Hill (Linda), Joe Hill (Magalys) and Noel Dean Hill; two grandchildren, Christopher Anchor(Cara), and Richard Anchor; four great grandchildren, Jeremyah, Braylon, Luke, and Ryan; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
