William Pruett

William Marvin Pruett, 83 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Bowling Green Nursing and Rehab.

Marvin was a son of the late Gillie and Ethel Whalin Pruett.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Jonell Bratcher and seven brothers and three sisters.  He served in the Air Force and retired from the Louisville Fire Department.  He was a member of Mt Pleasant Church of Christ.

His survivors include his two daughters, Vonda Pruett Coffey and Sondria Williams (Jeff); four grandchildren, Andrea Castro, Rebecca Coffey, Adam Coffey and Sarah Williams, seven great grandchildren, two sister, Victoria Jackson (L. W.) and Gerry Utley, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt Pleasant Church of Christ with burial in the church cemetery with Military Honors.   Visitation 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday at the church.  Arrangements were entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
