Wayne Guess

Wayne Guess, 57 of Scottsville passed peacefully at the Medical Center on Monday, December 9, 2024.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Marty and Lulu Mae Bratcher Battenfeld. He was a CNA at Colonial Manor for 34 years. He loved his family, hunting, his animals and his residents. 

His survivors are his wife Dawn Guess; three children, Rosie Guess, Kyle and Katie King; two grandchildren, Ni’yah and Eli; six siblings, Sara Minnicks (Buddy), Marcia Meador (Jimmy), Sheila Battenfeld, Debbie Onley, Wayne Miller and Tina Miller; several nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial visitation from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. 

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Humane Society in his memory as it was very near and dear to his heart.
