Wanda Farris

Wanda Cowles Farris, 97 of Bowling Green died Friday, October 2 at Colonial Center of Bowling Green.

The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Albert Clark Cowles and Lola Sullivan Cowles.  She was wife of the late Vernon Farris and is preceded in death by a daughter, Janell Patton, a grandson, Don Patton, and her sister Angella Ellis.  Wanda was a Western Union Operator and was also employed by Department of Human Resources.  She was a member of University Church of Christ.

Her survivors include her son, Randall Farris (Jackie); five grandchildren Marlene Richer (Mike), Darlene White (Robin), Randall Farris (Jannie), Sherry Sanders (Jimmy Dean) and Jeffery Patton; nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

There will be a private family service at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Kinser Cemetery.
