Wade Allen Emody

Wade Allen Emody, 62 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the Medical Center.

He was born in Shirley, Massachusetts to the late Steven and Ruby Finnegan Emody. He was preceded in death by a sister, Paula House, a brother, Greg Emody; sister-in-law, Heidi Emody; nephew, Steven Emody. Wade was a self-employed painter. He enjoyed gardening and helping others in need.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Emody; children, Shannon Duarte (Damian) and Crystal Baize; four grandchildren, Aizen and Izaiah Ferguson, Devin Lewis and Jenna Gill; one sister, Deannie Clare (Kirby), one brother, Warren Emody; two nieces, Jennifer Watkins and Patsy Clare; one nephew, Joe Clare; several great nieces and nephews; several brothers and sisters-in-law; his father-in-law, Renick Wood.

His funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
