Sharon Adkins

Sharon Faye Shaw Adkins, 58 of Bowling Green died Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at the Medical Center.  The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Oakley Shaw and Carolyn Duff Jacoby. She is preceded in death by a brother, Jeffery Todd Shaw. She was a retired high school guidance secretary for the Bowling Green Independent Schools, a member of Southside Baptist Church and former member of Rainbow for Girls.

Her survivors include two daughters, Michelle Adkins and Angela Pierce; one son, Michael Adkins (Elizabeth); one sister, Linda Stewart (Joe); two brothers, Tim Shaw (Janice) and Chris Shaw; six grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a “walk-through” visitation only on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.  A private family service will be held at 3 p.m. burial will be at Martinsville Cemetery.  Masks are required inside the funeral home.
