Sandra Kaye Douglas, 74, passed from this world on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born to W. E. Utley and Estelle Utley, in Russellville, KY, on November 24, 1951. She was the wife of Joe Douglas for the past 50 years and together they had a family built around love.
She retired from WKU Food Services where she worked to take care of the many students she encountered.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughters, Heather Griffith & Kelly Douglas; Grandchildren, Tyler Griffith, Hannah Griffith, Mia Carpenter, and Jayren Douglas; a Sister, Vivian Cartmill (Paul); a Sister-in-Law, Sue Fox, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janice Carter.
The family is honoring her wishes to be cremated with no service to be held at this time.
