Ruth Lewis Higginbotham, 75 of Smiths Grove died Friday, May 26, 2017 at her residence.
The Barren County native was a daughter of the late Warner and Maggie Lawrence Lewis and is preceded in death
by her husband Jimmy Willis Higginbotham, three brothers, Johnny, Jack and Stanley Lewis; three sisters, Doris Manley, Alene Grimsley, Vera Camp. Ruth was a housewife and a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Her survivors include her two daughters, Darlene Vincent (Danny) and Donna Sue Higginbotham; two grandchildren, Courtney Adwell (Kendell) and McKenzie Vincent; one great grandson, Eli Adwell, one sister, Helen Nicholas; one brother Vecheal "Buddy" Lewis; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Rocky Hill Cemetery. Visitation 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
