Robert Lee Thomason

Robert Lee Thomason, 61 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

The Simpson County native was a son of the late Fontana C. Thomason and Barbara Haga Cox and her husband Carl Cox. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Jones; three brothers, Jimmy and Dennis Thomason and Leon Gray. Robert was a roofer for Breakfield Roofing.

His survivors include his wife Sherry Thomason; two sons, Chris Thomason (Amanda) and Robert “Bubbie” Thomason; 12 grandchildren, Desera Sadriji (Albian), Deonna Thomason (Dylan Blair), Destiny, Delana and Desmond Stradtner, Merissah Meeks, Aarilyn Crain, Riverlynn, Emma and Bella Miller, Dyson Sowders and Tanner Ladd; one great grandchild, Ryder Thomason; two brothers, Charlie Thomason (Pammy) and Don Shouse (Cindy); one sister, Kelly Miller (Danny Iler) and several nieces and nephews.

Robert’s funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Still Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
