Michael Lynn Brizendine, 72 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at his residence.
Michael was born to the late Huie C. Brizendine, Jr. and Norma Louise Adkins Brizendine. He was a telecommunications worker at Bellsouth/ATT for 20 years. He was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness, Telecommunications Worker Association and American Motorcyclist Association. Mike loved being a musician and loved playing with local bands. He had a natural ear for music and could play any instrument he picked up, his favorites being the banjo and guitar. He loved riding motorcycles and being a carpenter. His level of generosity had no bounds. He brought much light and love into the world through his talents and love of others.
His survivors are one son, Justin Brizendine (Brittney) and one daughter, BreAnna Thomas (Adam); six grandchildren, Trenton, Ellana and Lilliana Brizendine and Beaux, Lola and Lucy Thomas; one great grandchild, Amara Brizendine; one brother, Clint Brizendine (Deborah) one niece, Brooke Brizendine Bailey (Travis). He was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren and they were the joy and love of his life.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial visitation service held from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 with the service at 5 p.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. At this time friends and family will be asked to share some special memories.
