Marvin Lee Trosper passed away peacefully in Bowling Green, Kentucky on June 27, 2018, at the age of 74. Per Marvin’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
Marvin was born on October 11, 1943 in Bell Gardens, California. His parents E.J. (Earl Jay) Trosper and Elsie Simpson Trosper raised him in Booker, Texas. He attended West Texas State University where he met and married Johnnie LaFern Stovall. A few years after their daughter Tuesdi Leigh Trosper was born, they settled in Austin, Texas. Marvin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in business. Throughout his life, Marvin enjoyed working in real estate and automotive sales. Marvin loved playing and watching golf, but his favorite pastime was spoiling his grandchildren, Dylan and Zoe Helbig.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Tuesdi and Shawn Helbig of Bowling Green, Kentucky, his mother Elsie Trosper of Booker, Texas, his brother Jay Trosper of Amarillo, Texas, and his grandchildren Dylan Helbig and Zoe Helbig of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He is predeceased by his wife, Johnnie Trosper and his father, E.J. Trosper.
