Marvin E. Herald

Marvin E. Herald, 81 of Smiths Grove passed peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Signature of Glasgow.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Lloyd and Lillie Spinks Herald. He is preceded in death by a son, Mark Herald and several brothers and sisters. He was a retired concrete finisher for Scott & Murphy Construction. He was a born-again Christian. 

Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife, Alma Herald; six children, Jewell Marie Rogers (Dave), Marlene Carol Robertson(Mike), Janet Minton, Tim Minton (Kendra), Kalvin Minton (Peggy) and Alvin Minton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, two brothers, Jesse Herald (Martha) and Ira Herald; 

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Hawks Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
