Martha Louise Russell

Martha Louise Russell, 89 of New Albany, Indiana passed peacefully on August 29, 2026.

The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Harold and Ludy Estal Logston Wilson. She was preceded in death by eight siblings and a grandson, Bradley Flora. She was the wife of the late Murray Fred Russell for 50 years. Martha was employed at Greenview Hospital for many years. She loved singing and will be known by her beautiful smile.

She is leaving to cherish her memory, three children, Kimberly Russell, Linda Flora and Richard Russell; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel with burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
