Margaret Louise King

Margaret Louise King, 77 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Signature Healthcare.

She was the daughter of the late William David and Catherine Schwein Pitman. She was the wife of the late Kenneth King. Margaret was the owner of Three Forks Grocery and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Her survivors are five children, Kristine Collier (Michael), Kenneth King (Teresa), Keith King, Katherine King, and Kelly King; three grandchildren, Robert Lawrence III, Benjamin Lawrence and Tiffany Smith; one sister, Rose Davis (Ernest); one brother, William Pitman, Jr. (Pamela) and several nieces and nephews.

The family will honor Margaret’s wish to be cremated and will hold a memorial service at a later day.
