Mable Marie Mills

Mable Marie Mills, 98 of Smiths Grove passed peacefully at the Medical Center on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

The Edmonson County native was the daughter of the late Everette and Florence Johnson Skaggs. She is preceded in death by three sons, Terry Lee Mills, Travis Mills and Stevie Mills She was the wife of the late William C “Bill” Mills. Mable was a housewife and a member of Dripping Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters, Linda Collins, Angie Fox, Teresa Minton, Debbie Jones (Ricky), and Penny Huddleston (Mark) and one son, Gary Mills (Melissa), many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Kinser Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
