Loretta June Spillman Schreiner

Loretta June Spillman Schreiner, 70, of Bowling Green, passed away on January 08, 2024, at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Spillman and Junia Jones Spillman.    Also, preceding her in death were three brothers:  Robert Wayne Spillman, James Eugene Spillman, and Gary Lee Spillman.   In her younger years, Loretta worked most of her adult life and retired a few years ago.  

Loretta loved to cook.   She had many recipes and took great pride in cooking for others.  Her family requests that her friends leave a special memory of a recipe or a favorite meal that Loretta fixed.  These can be left in the Condolences Section of this webpage.    She also enjoyed traveling, walking, and reading.   Her reading took her to places that she didn’t visit.  

She leaves behind to cherish her memory:  Three nieces:   Donna Milton (Ricky); Heather Murphy (Josh); Tiffany Spillman and three nephews:  Rondal Spillman; Jason Spillman (Becky) and Ben Spillman (Dana).   She also treasured her many cousins on both sides of her family.  She often referred to her great nephews, John & Ben Murphy as “Her Little Men”!

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Hays Cemetery, Smiths Grove, Kentucky.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hardy & Son Funeral Home.  Services are being entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Homes.
