Logan Potter, 42 passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2026, in Bowling Green.
Logan was born in Richwood, West Virginia, to the late Michael Potter and Patricia Jiles who survives. He attended Richwood High School where he was a member of the marching band, playing trumpet and acting as drum major. After attending West Virginia University, Logan moved to Nashville Tennessee. He worked and entertained at the Hard Rock Café where he met his wife, Amanda. After moving to Bowling Green, he often helped at Bethel Methodist Church; he was Santa, the Easter bunny, and Joseph. He was a talented singer and loved to perform whenever he could. At the time of his passing, he was a manager at Beech Bend Park, where he was loved by coworkers and guests alike.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Potter of Bowling Green, KY; mother, Patricia and partner Jimmy McClung of Richwood, WV; sister, Kelly Potter and niece Rylan Copen of Bristol, TN; nephew and niece, Austin and Ava Johnson of Summersville, WV; grandparents, Bert and Regina Potter of Greenfield, IN; and an ENORMOUS host of beloved family members and friends.
There will be a celebration of life held at Beech Bend Park on Tuesday, September 8th at 1 p.m. Hardy & Son Funeral Home were entrusted with his service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, 3098 Louisville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101 for funeral services.
Additionally, there will be celebration of life in Richwood, WV on October 24, and in Nashville on TBD.
