Lea Maye Hubbard, 93 of Bowling Green died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Medical Center.
The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late John L. and Gertie Allen Lindsey. She is preceded in death by four brothers, Gilbert Richardson, John Joseph Lindsey, Frank Lindsey and Bill Lindsey; two sisters, Eilene Stice and Mary Katherine Madison. Lea Maye was Director of Bowling Green Warren County Welfare Office for over 20 years, she was also employed by Deemer Floral Co., Riley's Bakery and bookkeeper for Dr. McCormack, Wilson & Brooks.
Her survivors include her son, Jack Hubbard and his wife Cindy; one granddaughter, Amy Hubbard and two great granddaughters. Lucille Maye Hubbard Wright and Emma Jean Hubbard Wright; one brother, Dr. R. E. Lindsey (Barbara); a sister-in-law, Shirley Lindsey; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no services as cremation was of her choice. Arrangements by Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
