Lance Corporal Keegan Thomas Allen, 19 of Oakland, KY and recently stationed on Marine Corps Base Hawaii - Kaneohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii passed away September 5, 2024 He leaves to honor his memory - his mother, Ann Wells, his sister, Kelsey Lonas and her husband Tyler Lonas, his brother, Kaleb Allen and his fiancé Matison Cardwell, and their son, Keegan's nephew, Knox ; his Grandparents, Ed and Neva Whittle; his maternal aunt, uncle and cousin, Cathy, Jason and Emma Johnson; along with his father, Tim Allen and wife Nanette, step-brother and step-sister, many paternal aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as countless friends and fellow Marines. Keegan was preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Ralph and Shirley Daugherty and Ronnie Allen. He was a United States Marine. He was an adventurer, very curious and inquisitive. He was a thinker. He was precocious. He was brilliant. He was loyal, strong, fearless and most of all Brave. He was beloved by everyone who ever met him; he was a fantastic son, a great brother, a cherished grandson, nephew, cousin and uncle, and a best friend to all walks of life. No matter the circumstance, you would always leave with a story of something funny Keegan did or said while you were with him. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends. We will miss his stories and sense of humor, and his one-of-a-kind, joyful and infectious laugh. He truly brought the life to the party. To Keegan: Your presence, we will miss. Your memory, we treasure. Loving you always, forgetting you never. Keegan's funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Visitation will be 11 a.m.- 7 p.m Saturday and 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Otter Gap Cemetery with Full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Otter Gap Baptist Church for upkeep of the cemetery or to The Fisher House Foundation who builds homes and facilities to house military families while their loved ones are in the hospital. |
