Kathryn Laverne Van Sise

Kathryn Laverne Van Sise, 74, of Bowling Green, passed away on January 20, 2024, at her residence.  A native of Champagne, IL, Kathryn was born to the proud parents:  Leonard Ray Zachary and Laverne Mae Kelsey Zachary; both of them preceding her in death.  She was married to Nelson Van Sise. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Sheri Rae and brothers, Robert Dale Zachary and Tommy Zachary.   Kathryn loved meeting new people at her job; enjoyed playing Bingo and enjoyed every minute she spent with her family and grandchildren.  

Leaving to cherish her memory are five daughters; Janie Curry (Donnie); Angela Chai (Kian) Teri Grote; Mindy Hall; and Maria Mitchell.  Her legacy includes 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.   A sister, Connie Zachary; two brothers:   Clayton Zachary and Donald Zachary; and a host of several nieces and nephews.
