Joyce Ann Peay, 89, of Bowling Green passed away February 28, 2025, at Magnolia Village.
The Warren County native was born March 1, 1935, to the late Willie and Leona Burch Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Glendon Silas Peay; sisters: Helen June Miller, Virginia Rone, Betty Lou Coles, Jacqueline Douglas, Eleanor Hunton; brothers: Joseph Neil Miller, Donald Miller, and Billy Miller. She had eleven half-siblings: Maude Gott, Geraldine Burcus, Violet Reagan, Elizabeth Gould, Andrew Miller, Wyatt Miller, Ed Miller, Willis Miller, Clyde Miller, J. Roland Miller, and Elvis Miller. Joyce was a member of Rays Branch Methodist Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired from Sears where she was a manager. She enjoyed being in the Senior Friends of Greenview.
Survivors include her children, Debra Jefferies, Matt Peay (Sue), Kay Jordan (John), Sheila Cline (Jimmy), Craig Peay (Lisa); grandchildren, Steven Marcum, Chris Peay, Shawn Peay (Ginger), Derek Peay (Christy), Jeremy Comer (Melissia), Bryan Comer (Danielle), Ryan Comer (Emily), Aaron Cline (Sabrina), Lacy Cline, Amanda Cline (Joelle), Allan Peay (Ashton), Brandon Peay (Ashley); sisters, Alice Basham (Shirley) and Linda Vincent (Elmer); brother, Charles Miller; 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
