John "Jay" Crump, II

John “Jay” W. Crump II, 67 of Bowling Green died Thursday, February 19, 2026 at his residence.

The Warren County native was the son of the late John W. and Bettye Wilcoxson Crump. He is preceded in death by a sister, Patty Jo Huff. Jay was a member of Richardsville Baptist Church and was employed at Fruit of Loom.

He is survived by his sister, Melinda Trusty (Donald David), and his brother John Richard Willey (Ann); two nephews, James Daniel Willey (Nicole Payne) and Benjamin Toddy Willey (Kristen); seven great nieces and nephews, Artemis Willey, Gabrielle Patterson, Eli James Willey, Temperance Willey, Ragan Preston (Jeff), Ashley Russell and Chad Reynolds; one great great niece, Mary Paylan Preston and great great nephew, Jefferson Preston.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richardsville Baptist Church with visitation from 12 – 2 p.m.

The family will honor his wish to be cremated under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
