Jimmy Leon Massey, 79 of Bowling Green, died Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at his residence.
The Warren County native was the son of the late James Massey and Pauline Bledsoe Haley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Reynolds Massey and his brother, Bobby Massey. Jimmy served in the US Army, he was a farmer, he loved the Boston Celtics and UK Basketball.
His survivors include his daughter, Tammy Wagoner (Tim), grandson, Zack Wagoner (Shannon), granddaughter, Jennifer Martin (Jon), great granddaughters, Kenzie and Hanna; two sisters, Darlene Meredith and Vergie Trimm; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Otter Gap Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
