James Merritt

James Randolph Merritt passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, at T. J. Sampson Hospital. He was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, to the proud parents, James Houston Merritt and Katherine Tomlinson Merritt. James was an electrician and belonged to IBEW and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kimberly Smith Merritt; one daughter, Gina Wise (Kevin); one stepdaughter, Christy Hobson; grandsons, Vance Dutton, Ty Dutton, and Dayton Hobson; brothers, Bill Merritt (Paula) and Ronnie Merritt; sisters, Linda Quattlebaum (Jerry) and Debra Merritt and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in the Spring for James. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Homes.
