James Franklin Jones

James Franklin Jones, 75 of Bowling Green died Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Clarence Jones and Tenito Crouch Jones. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha Jean Morgan Jones and a brother, Noel Jones. James was employed for the city Public Works Department in the street division. He was a member of Jackson Grove Baptist church. He also served in the U S Marine Corp and National Guard. 

His survivors include his two step- sons, James Woodward (Christine) and Robert Woodward; three step grandchildren, Timothy Woodward, Joshua Woodward and Samantha Hyde; two brothers, Howard Jones (Melinda) and Mike Jones; one sister, Jennifer Parsons and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with cremation to follow. There will be a visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
