Hazel Margaret “Johnnie” Bailey, 81 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, January 16, 2024
The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Clay Mills and Dorothy Wilson Mills. She was the wife of the late Jerry Bailey. Johnnie was retired from Holley Automotive and a member of Wingfield Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her three children, Phillip “Sput” Houchins, Debra Lynn Houchins and Larry Douglas Houchins (Malinda); three grandchildren, Misty Cox (Steven), Gavin Houchins (Harlie) and Erin Houchins; one great grandson, Ryder Casey; two step-sons, Jeff Bailey and Jerry Bailey (Tammy), a brother, Jimmy Mills; three sisters, Jean Simmons (James), Peggy Bledsoe (Jr.) and Joyce Walker (Harold); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Boiling Spring Cemetery Fund, 1340 Boiling Springs Rd. Bowling Green, Ky 42101
