Harold Dewayne Watt, 60, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on August 22, 2026. He was born on June 6, 1966.
Dewayne was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a follower of Jesus and carried his faith with him throughout his life. Dewayne worked as a manager at White Castle for several years, where he built many lasting connections with those around him. More than anything, he cherished the time he spent with his daughters, Aleah and Abby. He was always there for them when they needed advice, encouragement, or simply someone to listen. His love for his daughters was evident in the way he supported them and made himself available whenever they needed him. Those who knew Dewayne will remember his infectious laugh and the warmth he brought into a room. His presence, sense of humor, and genuine care for the people he loved created memories that will be treasured forever.
Dewayne is survived by his daughters, Aleah and Abby Watt; brother, Terry Dale Watt; sisters, Lisa Fields (Terry) and Debora Campbell (Rick Williams); and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Harold Watt; his mother, Delora Jean Sturdivant; his maternal grandmother, Zelpha Hampton and paternal grandmother Thelma Watt; and his great-niece, Jordan Pippin.
Though his life on earth has come to an end, the love Dewayne gave to his family and the memories he created with those around him will live on in their hearts. His laughter will be remembered, his advice will be carried with them, and his love for his daughters and family will never be forgotten.
Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with cremation to follow the service. Visitation will be 11 a.m. -4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
