Harold Greer, 79, of Bowling Green died Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the Hospice House.
The Monroe County native was a son of the late Bert Greer and Zelma Murphy Greer. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie Greer and Herman Greer. He was a machine operator for Eagle Industries and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Harold enjoyed his Westerns especially Gunsmoke.
His survivors include his wife, Jane Thorning Greer; his children, Tracy Wyatt (Robbie), Tommy Greer(Terahyn) and James Dunning (Tina); four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Sally May Houchins; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Kinser Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
