Gilbert Ravon Miller

Gilbert R. Miller, 81 of Smiths Grove passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 10 at the Medical Center.

He was born to the late John and Ruth Parkinson Miller and is preceded by three brothers, Richard Miller, John Miller and Frank Miller, and six sisters, Joann Whitmore, Barbara Foster, Brenda Lam, Eve Phegley, Sue Miller and Pat Durbin. Gilbert was retired from General Motors. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the UAW. He loved gardening, travelling with the family and of course being with his two grandsons.

His survivors are his wife, Joan Miller; two daughters, Janet Scoggins (Tyrone) and Jessica Miller (Nathaniel Scott); two grandsons, Benjamin Scoggins and Brier Scott.

The family will honor his wish to be cremated. Arrangements were entrusted to Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
