Georgie Thomas "Tommy" Glass

Georgie Thomas “Tommy” Glass, 76 of Oakland went to be with the Lord on January 2, 2026.

The Warren County native was born on January 2, 1950 to the late Walker and Myrtle Wells Glass. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Carter and Josie Lee Boyd and one brother, Charles Henry Glass. Tommy was a farmer and a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. He enjoyed talking, visiting and eating. 

He is survived by a brother, Junior Glass (Linda), a sister, Darlene Kessinger (Ron) and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. And his extended family Bobby Hendrick (Linda) and their family.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Otter Gap Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
