Evelyn Gipson Sizemore, 88 of Smiths Grove died Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the Hospice House.
The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Clellan and Angeline Woosley Gipson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Conley and a grandson, William Rainwaters. She was a machine operator at the Derby.
Her survivors include five children, Jerry Rainwaters, Angelia Howell, Ed Rainwaters (Teresa), Bernettia Clayton (Vance) and April Wright; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
