Eugenia Allen Hadley

Smiths Grove, Kentucky

 

Eugenia Allen Hadley, 89 of Smiths Grove passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at the Hospice House.

The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Frank Mitchell Allen and Nella V Tucker Allen.  She was the wife of the late James Hadley and is preceded in death by a daughter, Dorenda Jean Hadley; two sons, Rodney Hadley and Greg Hadley; a grandson, Reggie Hadley;  brothers, Thomas Douglas “Buster” Allen, George E. Allen, and William Harrison “Billy” Allen; and a sister, Anna Bell Portner; Eugenia was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church where she was saved at an early age and remained faithful and loyal until her passing.  She held many offices in her church that she loved so dearly.

Leaving to cherish her memory are two sisters, Mary Jo Johnson and Dorothy Foster; a daughter-in-law, Betty Hadley;  several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Priscilla Boards.

A going home celebration will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with burial in Plainview Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel is honored to serve the Hadley family.
