Earl Thomas Glenn, Sr., 96, of Bowling Green died on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the Hopkins Center.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Gil and Mary Opal Scruggs Glenn. He was the husband of the late Ruby Louise Whitaker Glenn. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Anese Spears, son, Lonnie Glenn, one grandson, Travis Glenn and great grandchild, Syerra Burden. Earl retired from Firestone as a machine operator. He was a member of Richardsville Baptist Church.
His survivors are two sons, Earl “Tommy” Glenn, Jr. and Mike Glenn; six grandchildren, Jennifer Brown(Ken), Chad Glenn (Beverly), Jason Spears (Christy), Misty Lightfoot (Chad), Mandy Burden and Brandy Glenn; 12 great grandchildren, Justin Compton, Dallas Compton, Leslie Ferguson, Tabby Spears, Olivia Spears, Waylon Spears, Layla Spears, Alexa Goodwin, Austin Anderson, Cortney Burden, Garvin Hawks and Dalton Hays, three great great grandchildren, Lucy Jo and Lorelei Ferguson and Parker Compton, two brothers, Ralph and Darrel Glenn; one sister, Linda Rupp (Ken); 2 brothers-in-law, Kenneth Whitaker and Mitchell Whitaker (Mary); several nieces and nephews and a former daughter-in-law, Regina Glenn.
There will be a visitation from 10 a.m.- 12 noon on July 12 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with a memorial service at 12 noon. The family will honor his wish to be cremated.
