Donna Johnson

Donna Marie Johnson, 61 of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, November 8 at her residence.

The Warren County native was a daughter of the late Ballard Lee and Letha Kessinger Rigsby. She is preceded in death by a sister, Rita Gail Rigsby.  She was a housewife and a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Her survivors include her husband Veachel Johnson, Sr.; six children, Veachel Johnson, Jr. (Teresa), Rhonda Wilson (Mark), Amanda Thomason (Christopher), Lora Gillihan (Josh), Nathan Johnson (Marlow), and Travis Johnson (Jessica); 18 grandchildren 27 great grandchildren; four brothers, Allen Rigaby (Linda), John Rigsby (Alice), Dennis Rigsby, and Joseph Rigsby (Christina); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.  Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. til hour of service at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Bowling Green Gardens.

Those who wish to honor and remember Mrs Johnson in person at the visitation or service must wear a mask or appropriate facial covering.
