A friend of Bill W’s since the 1990s, Riz’s knowledge of the Big Book, the workings and principles of the program it set forth, and the history of the fellowship was extensive. She carried the message and helped countless others in extraordinary ways. She valued every human life and was passionate about social justice, the homeless, and LGBTQ issues. She loved history, traveling, and learning, the Kentucky Derby, Hot Rods games, and hanging out with friends.
