David Steindel

David K. Steindel, 85 of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by family on July 5, 2019 at the Medical Center.

He was a son of the late Albert and Sydney Haas Steindel and is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Steindel.  David was a Civil Engineer, a member of the Presbyterian faith, a member of the genealogy club and served in the U S Army Signal Corp.  David loved to watch his alma mater football team the Wisconsin Badgers " Go Badgers" and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

His survivors include his wife Joyce Young Steindel; five daughters, Heidi Steindel, Gabriella Bigenho, Cheryl Burden (Darrel), Carole Pippin (Larry) and Susan Burtoft (Tom); seven grandchildren, Isaac and Joelle Bigenho, Laura Hymer (Brian), Mary Riggsbee (Jeff), Robert Burns, Morgan Williams (Trai), Shelby Burtoft (Christian); four great grandchildren, one sister, Joan Owens, Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A private family service will be held.  Arrangements by Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
