David Oneal McKinney

David McKinney, 83 of Smiths Grove died Sunday, August 30, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

The Warren County native was the son of the late James and Truly Wingfield McKinney. He was the husband of the late JoAnne Brooks McKinney and was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Rediess. David retired from Firestone and General Motors and was a farmer. He was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.

His survivors include his two grandsons, J. B. Rediess (Mary), and Dustin Rediess (Nick Anderson), three great grandchildren, Ally, Bradly and Nataly Rediess.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Smiths Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
