Danielle Kenai Houchins

Ms. Danielle Kenai Houchins was 45 years old and born in Warren County, Bowling Green, Ky. on Sunday, October 18, 2026, Danielle found rest from her labor at the Medical Center of Bowling Green.

She was the daughter of Rev. Robert J. Houchins and Katherine N. Houchins of Bowling Green. Danielle graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1999. She also attended the Jefferson Community Technical College in Louisville, KY.. Danielle joined the Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She served on the Usher Board and sang in the Youth Choir. She enjoyed her church family and friends. With her beautiful smile, and easy-going personality, she did not meet a stranger.

Danielle is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Hilda Green Sarver and Kenneth Morrow of Bowling Green, KY. Her paternal grandparents were O.D. Houchins and Rosie Houchins of Smiths Grove, KY.

To cherish the loving memory of Danielle Kenai Houcins, she leaves to mourn three children, Joshua Henderson, Da’Mauri Candies, and Christopher Jackson, one brother, Shannon Jermaine Houchins (Megan), one nephew, Matt Milam (Hannah), and a host of God Children, Aunties, Cindy Houchins, Ruth Ann Morrow, Beverly L. William (Rev. Ronnie Williams), Kenetha Bryant (Marvin), one uncle, Danny J. Morrow, with many other cousins and relatives to many to name.

Her funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. , Friday at Little Zion Baptist Church with burial at Icy Sink Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel and visitation from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Friday at Little Zion Baptist Church.

Repass will be held at Little Zion Church immediately following interment.
