Central City, Kentucky
Dale J Simmons, 80 of Greenville, Kentucky formerly of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Greenville Nursing and Rehab.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Alvin and Christine Nugent Simmons and husband of the late Betty Jean Donoho. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ford. Dale was employed at Hopper Oil Company as a truck driver.
His survivors include his three sisters, Joy Rountree, Brenda Herrington, and Maxine King; one brother, Maxie Simmons (Devonia); several nieces and nephews; three stepdaughter, one stepson and several step grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Plano Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
