Colleen Wells

Colleen Wells, 62 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Sunday August 16, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

The Frankfort, Michigan native was the daughter of the late Jerold and Cathryn Beaudin Saxon. She was a retired corrections officer. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Cindy Setterboro and Sandy Wells; one brother, Mark Wells and a special friend, Ken Houghtaling.

Colleen is survived by two son, Connor DeBusschere (Cara Royall) and Brad Galloway; two daughters, Brittnay Dorris (Justin) and Cassidy DeBusschere; five grandchildren, Ellie and Myla Dorris, Chloe Remington, Arabella and Frankie Galloway; three sisters, Linda Wells, Penny Montminy (Chris) and Peggy Townley; and her best friend, Jonni Malone (Scott).

The family will honor her wish to be cremated. There will be a celebration of life held in Michigan at a later date. Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel will service these arrangements.
