Clayton Eugene Ausbrooks

Clayton Eugene Ausbrooks, 74 of Woodburn passed peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026.

The Warren County native was the son of the late James Lloyd and Juanita Holman Ausbrooks. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Ausbrooks, a sister, Diane “Sissy” Ausbrooks, and a brother Mike Ausbrooks. He was a member of Old Zion Heritage Way Baptist Church in Woodburn. Clayton was a self-employed contractor.

He is survived by three sons, Timmy Ausbrooks (Flenia), Brandon Ausbrooks (Melissa) and Clayton M. Ausbrooks (Shanna); 19 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one brother, James Ausbrooks (Linda); two sisters, Lynn Estes and Joyce Ward (Eddie)

There will be a funeral service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 15 at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, with visitation from 3-7 p.m. The family will honor his wish to be cremated after the service.
