Clara Burba, 90 of Bowling Green passed peacefully on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehab.
The Jefferson County native was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Aliene James Wathen and is preceded in death by her husband Edward Gaddie Burba, Jr. Clara was a housewife, a member of Richardsville Baptist Church, OES in Shively. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed sewing and was very creative
Her survivors include her children, Becky Parker(Doug) , Larry Burba (Ada), Susie Barr(Mike); six grandchildren, Misty Gail Burba, Kim Ross, Sam Barr, Ambra Gonzalez, Katie Jessee, Levi Burba; nine great grandchildren, Alex, Parker, Caitlin, Melody, Owen, Ryan, Remi, June, Julian, ; one brother, Herman Wathen.
Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial at Green River Union at a later date. Visitation 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to Richardsville Baptist Church or Green River Union Cemetery Fund.
