Chester Turner, 75 of Smiths Grove died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at his residence.
He was a son of the late Otha and Frankie Lawson Turner. Chester was a tow motor operator for Southern Foods and of the Baptist faith.
His survivors include his wife of 51 years Mabel Cooke Turner; his son, Kevin Turner; three grandchildren, Austin and Aaliyah Turner and Xavier Wilson; two brothers, David Turner and Michael Turner (Carolyn); five sisters, Joyce Hayden (Harry), Ellen Pearson (Ralph), Betty Turner, Brenda Apple, Billie Olmstead (Ted); several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Stoney Point Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel and 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.
