Bobby Gene Norwood

Bobby Gene Norwood, 83 of Bowling Green died Monday, August 5, 2024 at the Medical Center.

The Warren County native was a son of the late Frank Norwood and Geneva Louise Pursley Norwood. He was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Norwood. He was a self-employed furniture maker. He loved listening to Elvis and country music.

His survivors include his wife of 38 years, Nell Dunn Norwood; his sons, Bobby Gene Norwood, Jr. and Jeffery Norwood; his daughters, Connie Forrester, Susan Norwood, Kimberly Steen (Jeremy) and Christina Huff (Kelly); 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and his special girl “Allie”

There will be a memorial service held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Cremation was chosen.
