Barbara Ann Bray

Barbara Ann Bray, 79, of Plum Springs KY died on September 11, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1947 in St. Louis MO to the late Edwin Theodore and Alice Catherine (Dailey) Klix. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Klix. She is survived by her loving husband 56 years, Jerry Bray, her sister Anita (David) Martin, her brother Ed (Ann) Klix, her sons Scott (Karla) Bray and Chris (Angela) Bray, and daughter-in-law Amy Bray. Barbara had 6 grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah), Aaron, Jacob, Jackson, Logan and Ashlyn and 4 great grandchildren, Hailey, Kyler, Daniel, and Theodora. She also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Barbara worked at Chick fil A and was a cook at the day care - Academy for Little People for many years. She spent many years with Community Action with Jerry planning events and made many decorations, snacks, cookies and so many other treats for any and every holiday.

Barb loved baking and making sweets with her grandkids, her great-grandkids, Mallory, Meagan, and Evelyn “hi neighbor” - and just about anyone else. She also loved to play cards with Jerry, Linda and Larry.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and a funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Hardy & Sons Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel burial to follow at Shady Land Church Cemetery and dinner for friends and family at Shady Land Church of Christ thereafter.

Barb had a kind and giving soul. She loved to cook and was always sharing it with others. In lieu of flowers, and in keeping her legacy alive, share some cookies with a neighbor or share a meal with someone in need.
