William Leroy Duckett  

                          William Leroy Duckett, 69, of Richardsville died at 9:30 p.m.
                          Nov. 28, 2007, at his residence. The Warren County native farmed
                          and worked in construction before moving to Chicago. He later
                          moved to Cape Girardeau, Mo., where he worked for 33 years
                          at Southeast Missouri Stone Co., retiring in 2004. In 2006, he moved
                          back to Richardsville. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge
                          and Laborers Union. He was a son of the late Roy D. Duckett and
                          Margery Miller Duckett.

                          Funeral is at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling
                          Green chapel, with burial in Green River Union Cemetery. Visitation is
                          from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at
                          the funeral home.

                          Survivors include a daughter, Maureen Richards and her husband,
                          Shane, of Oak Ridge, Mo.; four sisters, Shirley Duckett, Carolyn O’
                          Toole and her husband, Bill, and Alesia Chaffin and her husband, 
                          Steve, all of Richardsville, and Kathy Ross and her husband, Lou,
                          of Pittsburgh; a brother, Wendell Duckett of Richardsville; a
                          grandson, William Richards of Oak Ridge, Mo.; and several nieces
                          and nephews.
