                         Robert “Charlie” Theis, 61, of Oakland died at 10:20 p.m.
                         Oct. 29, 2007, at The Medical Center. The Warren County
                         native was the circulation business manager at The Daily
                         News. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where
                         he was a deacon, church clerk and Sunday school assistant
                         director, a member of the Kiwanis Club and a Hixson Fellow.
                         He was a member of the Civitan Club and Bowling Green 
                         Warren County Welfare Board. He was also a Vietnam War
                         Army veteran. He was a son of the late Robert Franklin Theis
                         and Gladys Irene Houchins Theis. 
 
                         Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions
                         to Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 3011 Elrod Road, 
                         Bowling Green, KY 42104.

                         Survivors include his wife, Sue Watkins Theis; a son, David
                         Theis and his fiancee, Sarah Chrissie Johnson, of Oakland;
                         a granddaughter, Ashley Theis of Winnfield, La.; a sister,
                         Wenonah “Wendy” Jones and her husband, Randall, of
                         Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
