Perry Edward Beckner, 79, of Louisville died at 9 a.m.
March 8, 2008, at his residence.
The Edmonson County native was the owner and
operator of Service Dry Cleaners, Sonotone of
Louisville hearing aids and Niagara Massage Equipment
of Louisville. He was a member of Jeffersontown
Methodist Church and a 50-year member and past
master of Park City Masonic Lodge 934 F&AM. He was a
Korean War veteran who served in the U.S. Navy. He was
a son of the late Cleo Beckner and Enola Houchens
Beckner and the husband of the late Mary Evelyn “Mimi”
Cooke Beckner. He was preceded in death by a
daughter, Zonia Chloe Beckner; and a sister, Geneva
Madison.
Funeral is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral
Home, Bowling Green chapel, with burial in Rocky Hill
Cemetery. Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. Monday
and visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday
at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Enola Snoe “ESnoe”
Beckner Meiman and her husband, Joe, of Louisville;
two grandchildren, Justin Beckner “J.B.” Meiman and
his fianc/, Michelle Ackerman, and Angela Nicole
Meiman Etienne and her husband, Adam, all of Louisville;
a sister, Jo Ann Daugherty and her husband, Carl, of
Edmonson County; and several nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews.
