Mary Roberta Beck Yates

                          Mary Roberta Beck Yates, 83, of Bowling Green died at 9:22 a.m.
                          March 29, 2008, at her home. The Warren County native was a
                          housewife and member of Penns Chapel Church of Christ. She was
                          a daughter of the late Eddie Beck and Oma Huff Beck and wife of
                          the late Dareld Yates. She was preceded in death by a sister,
                          Barbara Oakes; and two brothers, Basil and Howard Beck.

                          Funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, with
                          burial in Penns Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to
                          8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

                          Survivors include two daughters, Lois Simpson and her fianc/, Tim
                          Garmon, of Bowling Green and Brenda Barnes of Yellville, Ark.; a
                          granddaughter, Genuita James and her husband, Bruce, of
                          Brownsville; three great-grandchildren, Kodi and her fianc/, Joey, 
                          Gage and Coby; a great-great-grandchild, Kiley; two sisters,
                          Shelly Beck Cherry of Bowling Green and Aline Lee of West Virginia;
                          and several nieces and nephews.
